Reaction Steps

To a solution of 27 (132 mg, 0.32 mmol) in 10 ml DCM was added a solution of BBr3 (1M in DCM, 3 ml). After stirred at r.t. for 1.5 h, the reaction mixture was evaporated to dryness. The solid residue was dissolved in EA, washed with aq. NaHCO3, brine and water. Org. phase was dried over sodium sulfate and evaporated to dryness to give 28 as a yellow solid.
