A sealed tube equipped with a magnetic stirrer was charged with 126f (200 mg, 0.62 mmol), (2-(6-tert-butyl-8-fluoro-1-oxophthalazin-2(1H)-yl)-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridin-3-yl)methyl acetate 116c (268 mg, 0.65 mmol), Pd(dppf)Cl2 (18 mg, 0.025 mmol), sodium acetate (74 mg, 0.90 mmol), K3PO4 (191 mg, 0.90 mmol), and acetonitrile/water (5 mL/0.5 mL). After three cycles of vacuum/argon flush, the mixture was heated at 100° C. for 2.0 h. It was then cooled to room temperature and filtered. The filtrate was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica-gel column chromatography eluting with 10:1 dichloromethane/methanol to afford 126g (100 mg, 26%) as a brown solid. MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 612.3.
