A suspension of 318 (2.64 g, 5.82 mmol) in 80% aqueous acetic acid (42 mL) was heated at 90° C. for 18 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to r.t. and diluted with water. The resulting precipitate was collected by suction filtration. The solid was transferred to a round-bottomed flask, the remaining water was removed by azeotropic distillation with toluene (4 times), and the solid dried in vacuo yielding 325 (1.76 g, 76%).
