Following General Procedure A above using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (Example B) and 3-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolin-2-one (Example 5-A), the title compound was prepared as a mixture of diasteromers. The reaction was monitored by tlc on silica gel (Rf=0.38 in 25% ethyl acetate/hexanes) and purification was by flash chromatography using 25% ethyl acetate/hexanes as the eluant.
