Reaction Steps
By the procedure of Example 29, and starting from 6-(alpha-bromoacetyl)-thiochromane and 4-(2-oxo-1-benzimidazolinyl)-piperidine, the corresponding aminoketone is obtained in 38% yield (MG 16413), m.p. 184°-186° C., which is then reduced with NaBH4.
