Methyl 2-(2-fluoro-4-(pyridin-4-yl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-7-carboxylate (500 mg, 1.43 mmol) was added to ammonia in methanol (30 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 days. Then the solid was filtered, washed with methanol and dried in vacuum to obtain 2-(2-fluoro-4-(pyridin-4-yl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-7-carboxamide as white solid (300 mg, yield 62%). 1H-NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ (ppm): 7.52-7.56 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 7.85-7.89 (m, 5H), 7.95-7.97 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 8.03-8.05 (m, 2H), 8.45-8.49 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 1H); 8.72-8.73 (d, J=4.4 Hz, 2H); LC-MS (ESI) m/z: 334 (M+1)+.
