The title compound was prepared in 31% yield from (2R)-2-[(2-amino-5-mercapto[1,3]thiazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidin-7-yl)amino]-4-methylpentan-1-ol (200 mg, 0.67 mmol) and 3-[(1R)-1-chloroethyl]benzonitrile (166 mg, 1.0 mmol) according to general method A.
