2-(1,3-Dioxo-1,3-dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-ethanesulfonic acid (3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H[1,4′]bipyridinyl-4-yl)-amide was prepared by an analogous procedure as described for example 1 i) starting from 638 mg (3.6 mmol) 3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-[1,4′]bipyridinyl-4-ylamine and 985 mg (1 equiv.) 2-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-ethanesulfonyl chloride. The product was obtained in crude form as a light yellow foam. Yield: 860 mg MS (ES+): m/e=415.
