The title compound was prepared by cleaving the pivaloyl protecting group of N-[4-chloro-5-(3-diisopropylamino-prop-1-ynyl)-7-(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-2-yl]-2,2-dimethyl-propionamide with ZnCl2 according to the General Procedure B. tR: 4.71 min. 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ 8.24 (s, 1H), 7.05 (s, 1H), 5.30 (s, 2H), 4.96 (s, 1H), 3.76 (s, 3H), 3.68 (s, 2H), 3.27 (7, 2H), 2.27 (s, 2H), 2.20 (s, 2H), 1.15 (d, 12H).
