The title compound was prepared from 6-(4-chloro-phenyl)-8-methyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (example C.33) (143 mg, 0.5 mmol) and N-hydroxy-4-sulfamoyl-benzamidine [CAS-No. 4476-10-2] (161 mg, 0.75 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained after purification by flash chromatography (ethyl acetate/heptane) and crystallization (MeOH) as an off-white solid (143 mg, 61%). MS (EI) 465.1 [(M)+]; mp 311° C.
