The title compound was prepared from 8-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (example C.34) (160 mg, 0.5 mmol) 2-amino-N-hydroxy-pyrimidine-5-carboxamidine (example B.5) (115 mg, 0.75 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained after purification by flash chromatography (ethyl acetate/heptane) and crystallization (dichloromethane/hexane) as a white solid (60 mg, 27%). MS (ISP) 438.3 [(M+H)+]; mp 302° C.
