The title compound was prepared from 8-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (example C.34) (160 mg, 0.5 mmol) and 2-amino-N-hydroxy-pyridine-4-carboxamidine (example B.6) (114 mg, 0.75 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained after purification by flash chromatography on silica gel (ethyl acetate/heptane) and crystallization (MeOH/dichloromethane/hexane) as an off-white solid (140 mg, 64%). MS (EI) 436.1 [(M)+]; mp 264° C.
