4-[2-(3-Amino-phenyl)-oxazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-5-ylmethyl]-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (83 mg, 0.2 mmol) was dissolved in 1 mL of pyridine along with 1 eq of 3-dimethylamino benzoyl chloride hydrochloride (44 mg, 0.2 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated in a Biotage microwave reactor (160° C.) for 10 min. It was then cooled to room temperature and concentrated. The resulting residue was purified by chromatography (Isco, gradient elution, CH2Cl2 to 95% CH2Cl2, 4% MeOH and 1% Et3N) to afford 25 mg of 4-{2-[3-(3-dimethylamino-benzoylamino)-phenyl]-oxazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-5-ylmethyl}-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (23% yield).
