33 mg of 2-(((1S,4S)-5-(3-chloro-2-fluorobenzoyl)-2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-yl)methyl) -6-((methoxymethyl)(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)amino)isonicotinic acid was dissolved in 0.9 ml of trifluoroacetic acid and 0.1 ml of water followed by stirring 2 hours at 75° C. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound.
