The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromopyridine (15 mg, 97=mol) and 2-(but-3-ynyl)-4-chlorobenzo[d]oxazole (20 mg, 97 μmol). The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography (cyclohexane/AcOEt 4:1) to yield 3 mg (11 μmol, 11%) of 4-chloro-2-(4-(pyridin-2-yl)but-3-ynyl)benzo[d]oxazole as a brown solid.
