The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 118(A), from 6-fluoro-2-methyl-quinoxaline (100 mg, 0.62 mmol). The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography (cyclohexane/AcOEt 4:1) to yield 66 mg (0.24 mmol, 39%) of 6 fluoro-2-(4-trimethylsilanyl-but-3-yl)-quinoxaline as an orange oil.
