The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromo-pyridine (50 mg, 0.32 mmol) and 2-(but-3-ynyl)-5,6-difluoro-2H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole (60 mg, 0.29 mmol). Reaction time: 3 hours. The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography (DCM/MeOH 99:1) to yield 54 mg (0.19 mmol. 66%) of 5,6-difluoro-2-(4-(pyridin-2-yl)but-3-ynyl)-2H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole as a yellow solid (M.P.=131-132° C.).
