The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromo-pyridine (65 mg, 0.41 mmol) and 1-but-3-ynyl-4-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-1H-[1,2,3]triazole (80 mg, 0.37 mmol). Reaction time: 13 hours. The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography DCM/MeOH 98.5:1.5) to yield 28 mg (96 mmol, 26%) of 2-(4-(4-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)but-1-ynyl)pyridine as a brown solid (M.P.=120-122° C.).
