The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromo-6-(fluoromethyl)-pyridine (24 mg, 0.13 mmol) and 2-but-3-ynyl-3-methyl-quinoxaline (25 mg, 0.13 mmol). Reaction time: 14 hours. The crude residue was purified by preparative chromatography plate (Et2O/pentane 7:3) to yield 6.4 mg (21 μmol, 13%) of 2-(4(6-(fluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yl)but-3-ynyl)-3-methylquinoxaline as a yellow solid.
