This compound was made from 2-bromo-5-methoxybenzoic acid in the same manner as compound 18d: 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 3.30 (s, 1H), 3.74 (s, 3H), 4.50 (s, 2H), 4.69 (s, 2H), 6.83 (dd, J=8.8, 2.9 Hz, 1H), 7.40 (d, J=2.9 Hz, 1H), 7.48 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H).
