The title compound was prepared in 91% yield from 2-(3′-fluoro-5-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy-5′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-3-yl)-4-methyl-pentanoic acid methyl ester (prepared in Intermediate B) and 3,5-bis-trifluoromethylphenylboronic acid under the conditions described in Example 26, step (d).
