Reaction Steps
Using the procedure described in Example 55, Part B, N1-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-1,2-benzenediamine (399 mg, 1.65 mmol) and 4-methylsulfonylbenzoic acid (463 mg, 2.31 mmol) yielded 591 mg (84%) of the title compound as a white solid.
