Using the procedure described in Example 102, Part A, 3-methoxy-4-methylbenzoic acid (3.6 mmol) and N1-(4-tert-butylbenzoyl)-1,2-benzenediamine (1.8 mmol) yielded 210 mg (28%) of the title compound. MS-FD m/e 416.3 (M+). Anal. for C26H28N2O3: Calc: C, 74.98; H, 6.78; N, 6.73; Found: C, 69.00; H, 6.30; N, 5.91.
