Reaction Steps
1-(N,N-Dimethylaminoethyl)-2-aminobenzimidazole hydrochloride was prepared by the method of Example 1 using thiophenecarbonyl chloride and 1-(N,N-dimethylaminoethyl)-2-aminobenzimidazole. MS 314 (M +1). 1H NMR (DMSO): δ 2.95 (s, 311), 2.97 (s, 3H), 3.57 (m, 2H), 4.70 (m, 2H), 6.08-7.89 (m, 7H), 10.66 (broad s, NH).
