2 mL of an 6 N aqueous solution of hydrochloride were added to the mixture of tert-butyl 2-{4-[4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl]piperidino}acetate (0.10 g, 0.0002 mol) in acetone (5 mL). The mixture was stirred at 45° C. for 2 hours. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure. Water (10 mL) was added into the residue, and the mixture was lyophilized to yield 2-{4-[4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl]piperidino}acetic acid (0.010 g, 0.0002 mol).
