Reaction Steps

Following General Procedure D and using (S)-3,5-difluoromandelic acid (Example L) and 5-(L-valinyl)-amino-7-cyclopropylmethyl-5,7-dihydro-6H-dibenz[b,d]azepin-6-one hydrochloride (Example 7-T), the title compound was prepared. The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.3, 2.5% MeOH/CHCl3) and product was purified by chromatography (silica, 2.5% MeOH/CHCl3).
