The same operation as in Example (91c) was performed using 4-chloro-5-ethyl-1H-imidazole-2-carboxylic acid (100 mg, 0.59 mmol), thionyl chloride (5 mL), pyridine (10 mL) and tert-butyl 7-amino-2,3-dihydro-4H-1,4-benzoxazine-4-carboxylate obtained in Example (95b) (0.3 g, 1.20 mmol), to obtain 0.13 g of the title compound as a pale yellow solid (56%).
