The same operation as in Example (91c) was performed using 4-chloro-5-ethyl-1H-imidazole-2-carboxylic acid (0.21 g, 1.2 mmol), thionyl chloride (5 mL), ethyl 2-(4-aminophenyl)-5-ethyl-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate obtained in Example (99b) (0.2 g, 0.77 mmol) and pyridine (5 mL), to obtain 0.23 g of the title compound as a light pink solid (72%).
