When 7-amino-3-(1-methyltetrazol-5-ylthiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (3.28 g, 0.01 mol) was acylated with the product of Example 1 (3.1 g, 0.01 mol) according to the procedure of Example 2, the title compound was obtained: mp>300°.
