1,1-Diphenyl-2,3-epoxy-propane prepared as described in Example 21, was further reacted with dimethylamine in ethanol by the procedure described in Example 8 to give 3-dimethylamino-1,1-diphenyl-propan-2-ol (90%), m.p. 72° - 73°.
