The same operation as in Example (160c) was performed using methyl cis(±)-2-(4-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-6-methylpyridine-4-carboxylate obtained in Example (166a) (38.8 mg) and a 10% palladium-carbon catalyst (40 mg), to obtain 23.9 mg of the title compound as a colorless oily substance. The resulting compound was used for the next reaction without purification.
