The same operation as in Example (196c) was performed using tert-butyl cis(±)-4-{[(4-chloro-5-ethyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}-3-(ethylamino)piperidine-1-carboxylate obtained in Example (207a) (22.0 mg, 0.055 mmol), 4 N hydrochloric acid/1,4-dioxane (1 mL), ethyl 2-bromo-4-methyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carboxylate (17 mg, 0.066 mmol) and sodium carbonate (58 mg, 0.55 mmol), to obtain 6 mg of the title compound (23%) as a colorless solid.
