Using the same general procedure as described for Compound 3, but using instead 3-tert-butylphenylethyne (Compound 19), the title compound was synthesized as a white solid. PMR (CDCl3): & 1.34 (9H, s), 1.42 (3H, t, J-7.2 Hz), 4.43 (2H, q, J-7.2 Hz), 7.28-7.36 (1H, m), 7.40-7.46 (2H, m), 7.60 (1H, d, J-8.1 Hz), 7.67 (1H, s), 8.29 (1H, dd, J-8.1 Hz, 2.1 Hz), 9.21 (1H, d, J-2.1 Hz).
