Procedure

The title compound is prepared in analogy to the procedure described in Step 1.3, but using 1-(4-bromo-pyridin-2-yl)-cyclopropanecarbonitrile (Step 18.3) and (4-methyl-thiazol-2-yl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (Step 18.4). The reaction mixture is stirred for 2 h at 100° C., quenched by dilution with EtOAc/H2O, and extracted with EtOAc. The crude product is purified by silica gel column chromatography (Hex/EtOAc, 1:1) to afford 122 mg of the title compound as a white solid: ESI-MS: 357.1 [M+H]+; tR=4.86 min (System 1); TLC: Rf=0.29 (Hex/EtOAc, 1:1).
