Fumaric acid (52.6 mg) was added to a stirred solution of 4-(dimethylamino)butyl 2-(4-((2-amino-4-methyl-6-(pentylamino)pyrimidin-5-yl)methyl)phenyl)acetate (100.0 mg) in ethanol (0.6 ml). The solution was diluted with iPrOAc (0.6 ml) and stirred at 25° C. for 5 h. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with combined solution with iPrOAc (0.6 ml) and ethanol (0.6 ml), and dried under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a white solid, 125.6 mg.
