The compound (1.23 g, 3.08 mmol) obtained in Example 5a was dissolved in methanol (9 mL), a 1 N aqueous sodium hydroxide solution (9.24 mL, 9.24 mmol) was added, and then the mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 10 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, ethyl acetate was added to the resulting residue, the mixture was extracted with water (×2), the aqueous layer was adjusted to pH 3 with 1 N hydrochloric acid, and the mixture was extracted with methylene chloride (×3) and dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (799 mg; yield, 68%) as a colorless oily substance.
