Reaction Steps
To Compound 1107 (100 mg, 0.17 mmol) was added 4 mL of 4.0 N HCl in dioxane. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting yellow residue was dissolved in a minimum of MeOH and precipitated with cold Et2O. The yellow solids were filtered and dried to provide 3-(1-(2,3-difluoro-4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)-5-(4-methyl-5-(piperidin-4-yl)thiophen-2-yl)pyridin-2-amine (Compound 22, 80 mg, 98%) as a yellow solid.
