Reaction Steps
The (S)-tert-butyl 1-oxo-3-(thiophen-2-yl)-1-(4-(6-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)piperazin-1-yl)propan-2-ylcarbamate (96 mg) was dissolved in dry 1,4-dioxane (3 mL) and then HCl (4N in 1,4-dioxane, 1 mL) was added. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight, then concentrated and chromatographed (93.5:6:0.5 DCM:MeOH:NH4OH) to yield a clear oil, which was added to 1N HCl/diethyl ether. The resulting white precipitate was collected by filtration to yield the title compound.
