The title compound, MS: m/e=340.1 (M+H+), was prepared in accordance with the general method of example B, step 2, from 2-chloro-4-trimethylsilanylethynyl-pyridine and 1-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-4-iodo-2-isopropyl-1H-imidazole and crystallization from methanol and 1.05 eq fumaric acid.
