20 M of NH3 in H2O (3 mL) was added to a suspension of 3-[8-chloro-1-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-imidazo[1,5-a]pyrazin-3-yl]-azetidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester in i-PrOH (4 mL, 0.05 mol). The mixture was heated in an oil bath set at 105° C. overnight. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue was carried on to the next step without further purification. MS (ES+): m/z 467.82 (100)[MH+]. HPLC: tR=2.66 min (Open Lynx, polar—5 min).
