Reaction Steps

1,1′-Thiocarbonyldi-2-pyridone (4.03 g, 17.3 mmol) is added to a mixture of (3-amino-2,4-dichloro-5-fluoro-benzyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (5.37 g, 17.3 mmol) and dioxane (100 mL) and the mixture is stirred at reflux for 2 d. The mixture is concentrated, diluted with CH, filtered and the filtrate is diluted with DCM, filtered over silica gel and concentrated.
