This material was prepared from diethyl (3,5-dimethoxy-4-i-propylbenzyl)phosphonate obtained in example 15(a) and thiophene carboxaldehyde in 78% yield as the same way as described in the example 15(b), 1HNMR (CDCl3, ppm): δ 1.32 (d, J=7.1 Hz, 6H), 3.70 (qint., J=7.1 Hz, 1H), 3.89 (s, 6H), 6.69 (s, 2H), 6.90 (d, J=16 Hz, 1H), 7.0-7.3 (m, 4H).
