Reaction Steps
Above tert-butyl (S)-1-azido-3-((S)-oxepan-3-yl)propan-2-ylcarbamate was hydrogenated under H2 (40 psi), catalyzed by 10% Pd/C, in MeOH for 1 h. The catalyst was filtered off and concentrated to give tert-butyl (S)-1-amino-3-((S)-oxepan-3-yl)propan-2-ylcarbamate (55 mg, 83% over 2 steps). MS ESI +ve m/z 273 (M+H).
