The title compound was prepared following the procedure described for 6a using 2-methylpiperazine instead of piperazine. 1H-NMR (DMSO-d6) δ (ppm): 1.00 (3H, s), 2.78 (4H, brm), 3.05 (1H, m), 4.30 (2H, m), 7.07 (2H, m), 7.39 (2H, dd, J=8.24, 7.97 Hz), 7.75 (1H, d, J=9.34 Hz), 8.27 (2H, dd, J=7.42, 1.10 Hz), 8.37 (1H, s). m/z 361.4 (MH+).
