Reaction Steps
To a solution of ethyl (1S,3S,4S,6R,7S)-6-hydroxy-7-iodo-2-[(1R)-1-phenylethyl]-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-3-carboxylate obtained in Example 5-2 (1.44 g) in toluene (20 mL), was added tributyltin hydride (1.11 g) and 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile (228 mg). The mixture was stirred at 100° C. for 30 minutes.
