Reaction Steps

To a solution of Example 48 (300 mg, 0.51 mmol) in ethyl acetate (25 ml) was added 10% Pd/C (10% w/w, 30 mg) and was stirred under H2 (1 atms.) for 18 hr. The Pd/C filtered through celite (1 g) and the filtrate concentrated to provide title compound as a white solid (243 mg, 0.50 mmol). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.07 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 2H), 7.49–7.42 (m, 2H), 7.13 (s, 1H), 7.09–7.06 (m, 2H), 6.96–6.92 (m, 2H), 4.62–4.58 (m, 1H), 3.94 (q, 2H), 3.68–3.61 (m, 1H), 3.33–3.29 (m, 1H), 3.02–2.87 (m, 4H), 2.32–2.03 (m, 3H), 1.24–1.19 (m, 1H), 0.86 (t, 3H) ppm. ESI-MS m/z 488 (M+H)+. HPLC (93%).
