Procedure

A solution of 3-{4-[3-(4-Benzoyl-phenoxy)-propoxy]-3-styryl-phenyl}-2-methoxy-propionic acid ethyl ester from Example 145, was dissolved in ethanol and treated with H2 under balloon pressure. Filtered through a pad of celite and concentrated to dryness. The compound thus obtained was treated under standard hydrolysis procedure C to give the title compound.
