The title compound was prepared from 4-(2-bromo-ethoxy)-biphenyl (Example 377, Step 1) and (2S)-3-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-2-propoxy-propionic acid ethyl ester (Example 377, Step 4) via the same procedure used for the preparation of (2S)-3-{4-[2-(biphenyl-4-yloxy)-ethoxy]-phenyl}-2-methoxy-propionic acid (Example 283, Step 3) to produce a white solid. MS (ES) for C26H28O5 [M+H]+: 421.0, [M+NH4]+: 438.0, [M+Na]+: 443.0, [M−H]−: 3239.2.
