Following essentially the same procedure described in Example 7 above and substituting p-(2,2-diphenylvinyl)-α-methylbenzylamine hydrochloride for the α-methyl-p-phenethylbenzylamine hydrochloride above, results in the formation of 2-[p-(2,2-diphenylvinyl)-α-methylbenzylimino]hexahydroazepine hydrochloride having a M.P. of 219°-21° C.
