Reaction Steps
To 3.40 g of 10-chloro-3a,4,13,13a-tetrahydro-2-methyl-1H,6H-pyrrolo[3',4' :4,5]pyrido[1,2-c][1,3,5]benzoxadiazepine-1,3(2H)dione in 25 ml of dry chloroform is added, dropwise, and with external wet ice cooling, 10.0 ml of a 1.05 N ethereal hydrogen chloride solution to obtain the title compound.
